Hasselt, Belgium – 9th of September, 2022

Integration of AirConsole into the Zappware ecosystem is the first of many diverse worlds of entertainment the company has in its product pipeline.

Zappware Entertainment Group International (ZEGI) announces its partnership with AirConsole, a cloud-based video game console developed by Zurich-based startup N-Dream. The integration is complete and available for demonstration at IBC 2022 in Amsterdam (booth 1.A81).

Casual gamers can play multiplayer AirConsole games using their smartphone as a controller – no other hardware is required. Thanks to the integration with AirConsole, Zappware can now enable operators to personalize the gaming experience using their Entertainment Control Centre, Zappwares’ proprietary suite of back-office tools. Operators can now provide access to the AirConsole platform with its 11 free games or bundle the entire platform to their users.

“We all know that games are a great way for the audience to lean in and have hours of fun on the screen of their choice. The integration of AirConsole is the natural beginning for our Worlds offering. We have a range of dedicated content experiences tailor-made for every audience segment, whether they are cord-cutters or casual gamers, esports fans or travel enthusiasts”, said Ives Decraene, Executive Partner ZEGI Group.

“With this partnership with Zappware, AirConsole makes another step forward toward being available in every living room”, said Anthony Cliquot, CEO of N-Dream AG. “We are excited to bring more joy and fun to millions of new users that can start playing games instantly on their TV without owning any gamepads.”
